What a delightful surprise 10 Cloverfield Lane has been. Two months ago, we didn’t even know this movie existed, then bam, out of nowhere Paramount releases the trailer—and most intriguingly the title—of this contained thriller starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead, John Goodman, and John Gallagher Jr. The studio has unveiled yet another new trailer tonight that does an excellent job of further heightening the tension of the premise while simultaneously raising more questions for the audience.

Directed by Dan Trachtenberg and shot under the title Valencia, the film revolves around a woman who wakes up in a bomb shelter with two mysterious men who claim to have saved her from an unknown menace outside, which they tell her has killed everyone but the three of them. The first trailer was a pretty delightful play on expectations by showing the trio living harmoniously before insinuating something more sinister was going on, and this newest trailer starts at the beginning, revealing how Winstead’s character wakes up at the beginning of the film.

Is Goodman’s character telling the truth? More importantly, does he think he’s telling the truth? And is the unknown menace outside really the Cloverfield monster? To that end, when does this movie take place in relation to Matt Reeves’ original Cloverfield? There are plenty of questions surrounding this film (which is fitting considering J.J. Abrams is a producer), and I imagine most of them will be answered once we see the thing.

For now, enjoy the latest trailer below and keep the speculation game going in the comments. Abrams has already confirmed this is a “blood relative” to Cloverfield, so the question now is how close in kinship is it. Written by Whiplash filmmaker Damien Chazelle and Josh Campbell & Matthew Stuecken, 10 Cloverfield Lane opens in theaters on March 11th.
