Last year I got to visit the set of Resident Evil: Afterlife when the movie was filming in Toronto.  Now that Screen Gems has lifted the embargo, my goal is to post my set report and a few of the onset interviews later tonight.  Since the studio has only released a few official images from the movie, I decided to grab a bunch from the trailer to add to my interview articles and you can check them out after the jump.  Look for a lot more on Resident Evil: Afterlife later tonight:

Resident Evil: Afterlife was directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and hits theaters on September 10, 2010.  It stars Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Spencer Locke, Wentworth Miller, Shawn Roberts, Boris Kodjoe, Kim Coates, Norman Yeung and Kasey Barnfield.  Here's the synopsis:

In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead leads them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.
