One of the many films that premiered at this year’s Sundance Film festival was writer/director Josh Radnor’s happythankyoumoreplease. While many might have thought Radnor only got into Sundance due to his CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother, his film won the Dramatic Audience Award at Sundance last night, proving he belonged at the Festival.
Starring Malin Akerman, Kate Mara, Tony Hale and Josh Radnor, happythankyoumoreplease is about six New Yorkers juggling love, friendship, and the keenly challenging specter of adulthood. Even though the story is nothing new in the world of movies, I really enjoyed his debut film. Also, while many Sundance movies were tough to watch, happythankyoumoreplease is a really sweet romcom that’s sure to please audiences looking for an uplifting movie about love. While the movie doesn’t yet have distribution , I’m sure someone will purchase the film soon.
In the coming days I’ll be posting an exclusive interview with Malin Akerman and Josh Radnor, but until then, check out the 3 clips from the movie after the jump:
