20th Century Fox has released six movie clips from James Cameron’s Avatar and you can watch them after the jump.  If you’re like me and feel that you’ve seen too much from the movie already, I’d skip watching these clips.  But if you’re the type of person that loves to see as much as you can, you’re going to enjoy the clips as there is some new footage that has yet to be released.

And before hitting the jump…tomorrow is the big day for Avatar as Fox is finally showing the movie to critics around the world.  While most of us are going to be under embargo from writing what we thought of the film, what people think is going to end up online via Twitter/Facebook/and guests attending the screenings and sending in reviews to various websites.  What I’m trying to say is, tomorrow is the day when we all find out if Avatar is going to be a huge hit and worth the money Fox spent.

Hit the jump for the clips.

For those just joining the party:

Avatar takes us to a spectacular new world beyond our imagination, where a reluctant hero embarks on a journey of redemption and discovery, as he leads a heroic battle to save a civilization. The film was first conceived by Cameron 14 years ago, when the means to realize his vision did not yet exist. Now, after four years of actual production work, Avatar delivers a fully immersive cinematic experience of a new kind, where the revolutionary technology invented to make the film, disappears into the emotion of the characters and the sweep of the story.  Avatar stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Michelle Rodriguez, and Sigourney Weaver.

I didn’t see anything groundbreaking or allegedly ‘breakthrough’ in CGI…

Sniffed a Leftist-leaning plot, though; i.e. evil military after peace-loving munchkins who live in harmony with the environment.

So, like, where did the 200 million it allegedly cost to produce the film go, beer runs ?

Seriously why does one of the potential flaws of an up coming film have to involve politics? I mean this is cinema not a political debate.

As far as the film goes it looks interesting. I would certainly hope it’s a success for the sake of JC.

Frankly, I’m disappointed in the CG. The aliens don’t look organic. I don’t know exactly what it is, but there’s some element of Believability missing. Especially in the tails. I’ll probably see the movie because it’s sci-fi, but I’m skeptical on its ability to validate any of its hype.

Cameron -long rich and soldout and stale -has about as much moral authority as a crack dealer.

—Half a billion dollars for unoriginal, PC, circle-jerk slop like this?
    —in 2010? —huh?

lol, cameron hater, the movie is incredible so your gonna have to go cry in the corner about the reasons why cameron sucks. this movie destroys what you thought you knew about film as an art form.

This is the most beautiful movie I have seen in a long time. Everyone should see it. Avatar has a wonderful story line and fully developed characters. The scenery is amazing. I fell in love.

If you're over 21 —and you're thinking 'AVATAR' is anything
—anything at all -you are definitely suffering from an acute
case of “screensaver worship while living at mom's' syndrome.

    See your doctor.
