Opening on July 31^st is writer/director Judd Apatow’s third feature “Funny People”. The film is about a famous comedian (being played by Adam Sandler) who has a near-death experience and what happens as a result of it. Along for the ride are Seth Rogen, Leslie Mann, Eric Bana, Jonah Hill, Jason Schwartzman, RZA, Aubrey Plaza, and Aziz Ansari.

I saw a screening recently and have to say I loved it. Saying that, don’t go in expecting the movie to be funny in every scene. While “Funny People” will make you laugh a lot, it’s also got plenty to say about life and what’s really important about the journey we’re all on.
