[Update: An English-language version of the trailer, with new footage, is now available below.]

It’s been quite a while since we covered Stephen Frears‘ untitled Lance Armstrong project, but a German trailer for the film just surfaced revealing Ben Foster as the disgraced cyclist along with the title The Program and the subtitle “Um Jeden Preis,” which translates to “At All Costs.” John Hodge penned the script, which is an adaptation of David Walsh’s book Seven Deadly Sins: My Pursuit of Lance ArmstrongChris O’Dowd plays Walsh, the sports journalist responsible for exposing the United States Postal Service team’s doping program.

I can’t pass much judgment on the new trailer considering I don’t understand a word of it but, for what it’s worth, the visuals are solid and it also looks as though Foster is giving 100% to the role. Hopefully we’ll get an English language trailer soon, but according to the film’s IMDb page, it’s only secured distribution in France, Germany and Sweden so far.

You can check out the German The Program trailer for yourself below. The film also stars Lee Pace, Guillaume Canet, Dustin Hoffman and Jesse Plemons.

Here’s the official synopsis for The Program:

From Academy Award nominated director Stephen Frears (THE QUEEN, PHILOMENA) and producers Working Title (THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING), comes the incredible true story about the meteoric rise and fall of one of the most celebrated and controversial men in recent history, Lance Armstrong.
