Though Conan O’Brien’s brand new late night talk show doesn’t hit the airwaves until November 8th at 11/10c on TBS, the comedian is giving audiences a sneak peek at Conan with a warm-up episode. Yesterday, TBS announced, via press release, that a special online broadcast of Show Zero will be triple-simulcast at TeamCoco.com, YouTube and Facebook on Monday, November 1st at 11pm EST/8pm PST. The sneak preview of the new show will feature special celebrity guests, The Basic Cable Band and longtime sidekick Andy Richter as they all help get audiences and Conan himself warmed up for the premiere of Conan on November 8th. Late night talk show host Conan O’Brien and comedian Andy Richter have been working together intermittently since 1993. Though it had always been assumed that wherever Conan landed after leaving NBC in a huff, Richter wouldn’t be far behind. Well today TBS announce (via press release) that the longtime duo will be together again for Conan, the new late night show premiering on November 8th at 11/10c on TBS. Always making with the funny Richter said, “I’m thrilled to be going back to work with Conan, and very excited to start a whole new venture on TBS. However, I am mostly looking forward to getting out of the house again.” Conan followed suit by saying, “This decision was made without my authority. I will get to the bottom of this.” I know I can’t wait for Conan’s return with Andy at his side. How about you?

There are two kinds of people in this world: people who are fans of Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and people who aren’t. Either you totally get someone’s “Milk was a bad choice” tattoo or you blankly stare at the 2004 film starring Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd and Christina Applegate. Those who are fans probably already own the DVD, have probably burned it out and only need to know one thing about the Blu-ray. Buy or not to buy? Well, the answer is buy. There’s plenty of new stuff to warrant a hilarious upgrade. Hit the jump for details.

Conan O’Brien is passing time until the November 8 premiere of his new TBS show with the 30-city Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour, but you won’t have to wait until then to see his influence on the cable network. Andy Richter, live show opener Reggie Watts, and a bevy of Conan writers will tape a special tentatively titled Team Coco Presents Conan’s Writers Live in Chicago on June 17th, which TBS will air a week and a half later on June 27th. I believe that Conan’s legal obligations will preclude an appearance, but a night of comedy from the men who help make him funny is a delightful consolation process. For you Chicagoans, tickets for the Bank of America Theater event go on sale Friday May 28th at 10:00 AM.

Wouldn’t it be nice to wake up and be a secret agent overnight? As the titular lead of the television show Chuck, Chuck Bartowski would probably say it’s not so nice, but he’s had his fair share of adventure and lady love.
For those who need a download of information on the series, brace yourselves. Chuck works for the Nerd Herd department of a Burbank Buy More store, an ode to Best Buy’s Geek Squad (which, by the way, does have a Burbank location). Chuck had a simple life until he opens an email sent from his former college roommate and the whole of the United States’ secret information gets downloaded directly into his brain. More after the jump.

Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifainakis is great. We already knew that. But up until now, he’s mainly interviewed actors known for their dramatic work or at least not known primarily for comedy (the exception being the first episode with Michael Cera). But in this new episode he sits down with two gentlemen who have been making folks laugh for their entire professional careers: The Tonight Show host Conan O’Brien and announcer Andy Richter. However, Conan soon finds that his cute string dance and self-deprecating remarks will not save him. On the contrary, they are his hilarious demise and the stone-faced Galifianakis makes this new “interview” his best one yet. I’m still coughing from a joke that made me literally fall out of my chair laughing.
