Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green have teamed up with Funny or Die to produce a PSA protesting the proposed $2.5 billion budget cut for California’s schools. The video isn’t gut-bustingly funny, but it makes its point well. Going to the organization behind the PSA, SayNoToCuts.com, I learned that $17 billion had already been cut from California schools in the past two years. California has the most schoolchildren in the country with over 6.2 million in the 2005-06 school year. Do you really want them all growing up to be really stupid? I think not.

As a science fiction nerd, I was onboard Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles at the word “Terminator”. The show focuses on the bond between Sarah and her son John as they work together with the first cute Terminator, Cameron, to stave off Armageddon. Were they successful? Was it entertaining? More after the jump.

While some can’t believe The CW Network’s “Smallville” is still on the air, the show is currently filming its 9th season and if the crowd at Comic-Con is any indication, it’s still loved by a ton of fans. Anyway, to help promote the upcoming season, The CW Network has released the first image of Brian Austin Green as Metallo. Brian is doing a two episode guest spot starting with the September 25th season premiere. See what he looks like after the jump:
That thing you heard about the CW keeping “Smallville” on the air for a ninth season? That’s still true. Yesterday TV Guide even had some exclusive casting news on the superhero series and, guess what? It had nothing to do with who will be playing Zod. The big news is that Brian Austin Green (late of Fox’s “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” and Megan Fox’s pants) will join the series as Daily Planet writer John Corben – better known by the name used by his cyborg alter-ego: Metallo. The kryptonite-powered Metallo will appear in at least the first two episodes of “Smallville”, which debuts on the CW network September 25th at eight pm. I will be the first to tell you that Brian Austin Green blew me away during his tenure on “TSCC”. And while I don’t think that “Smallville” circa 2009 has the depth or range of Fox’s “Terminator” I am at least happy that Green held out for a better gig than “One Tree Hill”. Oh yeah, because that show’s isn’t off the air yet either…
