When the popular SyFy series Eureka returns for Season 4.5, Zane Donovan (Niall Matter) is still trying to figure out the history between himself and Deputy Sheriff Jo Lupo (Erica Cerra), knowing that things aren’t quite what they seem, as a result of a trip to 1947 that changed the timeline of the town and its residents. Although Zane has a brilliant mind that proves useful in the secret community of geniuses that conduct top-secret research for the government, he’s not sure what to make of his feelings for Lupo, but he’s definitely starting to voice them.

During this recent exclusive phone interview with Collider, Canadian actor Niall Matter talked about going from guest star to series regular, the joy of essentially getting to explore Zane all over again, maturing personally along with his on screen character, working with co-star Erica Cerra and developing their relationship on the show, and having comic legend Stan Lee guest star on an episode. He also said he hopes to guest star on an episode of SyFy’s latest original drama Alphas, and that he’d like to do a full-blown comedy. Check out what he had to say after the jump:

NBC Universal and Netflix have announced a new agreement that will have Netflix adding every episode from all 35 previous seasons of Saturday Night Live to Watch Instantly.  Not only will Netflix have all of SNL, but day-after broadcast of episodes from the upcoming 2010-2012 seasons.  Personally, I can’t wait to re-watch the sketch where Norm Macdonald plays a car crash victim whose spends most of his dying words insulting Sylvester Stallone’s filmography.

Additionally, beginning next week the last seasons of 30 Rock, The Office, Friday Night Lights, and Law & Order: SVU will be going on Watch Instantly (all prior seasons were also renewed).  The deal also puts new shows on Watch Instantly including USA Network’s Psych, Monk, In Plain Sight and SyFy’s Battlestar Galactica, Destination Truth, and Eureka.  All the shows will become available next week.  Hit the jump to read the full press release.

The studios, networks, and production companies go all out for Comic-Con every year and SyFy is no different.  This year, not only did they bring the thunder with cast members and sneak peeks of their series and such for the panels, but they even went so far as to take over a Hard Rock cafe in downtown San Diego and turned it into their own Cafe Diem, where the menu is customized to include items like Lou Diamond Flapjacks (a play on words of Stargate Universe star Lou Diamond Phillips).  Though we can’t transport you to Cafe Diem, we can provide a look at all the Comic-Con trailers that SyFy brought to San Diego this year including Warehouse 13, Eureka, Stargate Universe, Sanctuary and Caprica:
