20th Century Fox has released the international trailer and French poster for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. I think this is the best trailer they’ve released so far and it still doesn’t personally do anything for me since these movies have never really captured my imagination. However, maybe the third time is the charm for the Narnia franchise.

Though Disney decided not to move forward with The Chronicles of Narnia franchise, Fox picked up the ball and slated the third entry The Voyage of the Dawn Treader for a 3D release on December 10, 2010.
Based on the C.S. Lewis novel, Voyage follows the continuing adventures of Edmund and Lucy Pevensie, along with obnoxious cousin Eustace, as they sail the Narnian seas. Check out the trailer after the jump.

It’s been over ten months since Fox boarded the flagging Chronicles of Narnia franchise and so far news on the fate of the fantasy series has been kind of thin. You may recall that Disney abandoned the Narnia ship after Prince Caspian, the second film in the series, brought in only $400 million worldwide. That’s what’s called a disappointment in the world of Disney sequels… and a hit in the parlance of Fox. Director Michael Apted is about to wrap production on Narnia 3, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and the studio is marking the occasion by showing off their shiny new acquisition via Facebook. Check out three brand new Dawn Treader photos after the jump.
