Director Baz Luhrmann promises an ambitious adaptation of the classic F. Fringe has wrapped up, but that doesn’t mean your love of the show can’t go on.  Warner Bros. is releasing Fringe: September’s Notebook, and we’re giving away two copies.  If you’re a fan of the show, this is a must-own.  The collector’s set comes in a nice, leather-bound, clamshell case and contains “exclusive photos and concept art, and reveals quirks and little-known facts about each character, insight into fringe science, and much more.”  There are also posters, a piece of amber in a keepsake box, and other goodies.

The newest Die Hard movie, A Good Day to Die Hard, opened yesterday, and so we’ve teamed up with 20th Century Fox to give away limited edition infographic posters for the first four movies.  Each poster breaks down the body counts, explosions, plot points, and more for each film.  They posters are pretty neat, and we’re giving away sets to 10 lucky readers.  The posters are on high-quality paper and measure approximately 12″x16″.

Love is in the air at DC Comics this Valentine’s Day with the release of Young Romance: A New 52 Valentine’s Day Special #1.  Following hot on the heels of Justice League, Vol. 2: The Villain’s Journey collection, featuring the much-hyped first kiss between Superman and Wonder Woman in The New 52 continuity, Young Romance provides readers with a collection of six stories of superhero love. One of the more interesting films opening later this month is director Richard LaGravenese’s adaptation of the novel Beautiful Creatures.  The film is a supernatural love story that centers on Lena Duchannes (Alice Englert) a “caster” (a.k.a. a witch), her relationship with Ethan Wate (Alden Ehrenreich), and her dread at being chosen for good or evil.  We’ve been provided with some nifty swag from the film to give away to a few lucky readers including a track jacket, t-shirts, a messenger bag, a copy of the soundtrack, a makeup collection from Pür Minerals, and more.

Side Effects, the latest from Steven Soderbergh, hits theaters on February 8.  Soderbergh recruited a typically great cast in Rooney Mara, Jude Law, Channing Tatum, and Catherine Zeta-Jones for the thriller about “a successful New York couple (Mara and Tatum) whose world unravels when a new drug prescribed by Emily’s psychiatrist (Law)—intended to treat anxiety—has unexpected side effects.”

How are you going to buy anything in the dystopian future metropolis of Mega City One?  You’re going to need credits (money in the future is always “credits”), and we’ve got some for you.  We’re giving away the credits prop from Dredd.  Various props and costume pieces from the action flick are being auctioned off, but you don’t have to buy these.  You just have to enter for a chance to win fake money.  You’ll notice that the credits say, “Scratch to Win”, so the money is actually lottery tickets, which is a nice little detail.
