In the unusual drama Sympathy for Delicious, actors Orlando Bloom and Juliette Lewis play charismatic frontman The Stain and bassist Ariel, part of a band on the verge of superstardom, whose manager Nina (Laura Linney) is trying to lead them down the path to fame and fortune. When they hold auditions for a DJ to add to their band, they meet Dean O’Dwyer (Christopher Thornton), aka Delicious D, who they discover possesses the otherworldly power to heal people and they decide to incorporate his gift into their live show, with disastrous consequences.
At the film’s press day, co-stars Orlando Bloom and Juliette Lewis talked about the appeal of doing such out-there roles, how they related to and identified with their rock star counterparts, working with Mark Ruffalo on his feature directorial debut, and being a part of such a passion project for screenwriter/star Christopher Thornton. Orlando also talked about his excitement to work with Peter Jackson again, reprising the character of Legolas for The Hobbit, and Juliette talked about her desire to get back out on the road again with her own band, The Licks. Check out what they had to say after the jump:

If you’ve been reading Collider for any length of time, you know we’re all huge fans of NBC’s Chuck. While getting any show on the air is hard, getting more than one season is even tougher. That’s why I’m beyond excited that Chuck is coming back for a 4th season this fall. And it’s not just because Zachary Levi and Joshua Gomez say “Collider” 10 times during the interview you’re about to watch. It’s because both Zachary Levi and Joshua Gomez are awesome together on screen and they’re both extremely grounded and two of the nicest people I’ve ever had the chance to interview. Also, they both waited around at last week’s Saturn Awards until Guillermo Del Toro was done doing interviews so they could get their picture taken with him. How many actors would have done that?
Anyway, during my backstage interview with Levi and Gomez, they talked about last season and the way things changed on the show. They also talked about the upcoming season, Comic-Con, will they change the Tron poster in Chuck’s bedroom to a Tron: Legacy poster, how disappointed they are that GDT isn’t doing The Hobbit, what did they see and love about this year’s E3 (they’re both gamers), and a lot more. If you’re a fan of Chuck, I promise you’ll love the interview. Hit the jump to take a look:

Opening this Friday is director Ruben Fleischer’s feature debut “Zombieland”. Since I’ve been covering the film extensively, you should be very familiar with the movie. But if you missed our previous coverage…here’s my video blog about being on the set in Atlanta, and here’s some on set interviews with director Ruben Fleischer, Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson.
Anyway, a few days ago they held a press day on the Santa Monica pier and I was able to talk with Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg. During the interview they talked about their reaction to first reading the script, Twinkies, the way Woody would change the way he delivered his lines on every take, and Jesse Eisenberg talked about David Fincher’s next movie “The Social Network”.
