Our AFM coverage continues with the first look at Miley Cyrus’ upcoming coming-of-age comedy, LOL. The remake of the 2008 French film tells the story of a mother (Demi Moore), who discovers just how wide the communication gap has grown between her and her daughter (Miley Cyrus) after she accidently reads her racy journal. Lisa Azuelos, who wrote and directed the original film, has remade her own film for English speaking audiences. The film also co-stars Ashley Greene, Thomas Jane, Adam G. Sevani, Jay Hernandez, and Gina Gershon. You can hit the jump to check out the images and the official synopsis:
UPDATE: We’ve been asked by the studio to remove the images. Sorry if you missed them.

Last weekend, the six stars from Screen Gems’ upcoming heist film Takers sat down to talk with the media, and I was there. Takers follows a close-knit crew of thieves who plan the perfect heist, one that will leave them set for life. Of course, the cops have to chase the robbers, and the robbers aren’t even sure if they can trust each other. Stars Idris Elba, Hayden Christensen, Jay Hernandez, Michael Ealy, Chris Brown, and Tip T.I. Harris all had plenty to say about planning the perfect heist, working together, and their upcoming projects including Jumper 2 and Thor! You can watch all three interviews after the jump.

Opening next week is Screen Gems Takers which stars Matt Dillon, Paul Walker, Idris Elba, Jay Hernandez, Tip “T.I.” Harris, Chris Brown and Hayden Christensen. Here’s the synopsis:
Takers takes you into the world of a notorious group of criminals (Idris Elba, Paul Walker, T.I., Chris Brown, Hayden Christensen and Michael Ealy) who continue to baffle police by pulling off perfectly executed bank robberies. They are in and out like clockwork, leaving no evidence behind and laying low between heists. But when they attempt to pull off one last job with more money at stake than ever before, the crew may find their plans interrupted by a hardened detective (Matt Dillon) who is hell-bent on solving the case.

Screen Gems has released a new trailer for Takers which stars Matt Dillon, Paul Walker, Idris Elba, Hayden Christensen, Zoe Saldana, Jay Hernandez and Tip ‘T.I.’ Harris. The movie is about a notorious group of bank robbers and their last job. After watching the trailer, all I could think was Takers is like the McDonalds version of Heist. Judge for yourself after the jump.

Screen Gems has released synopses and some first look images from their 2010 films and it’s all after the jump. Some of the new/first look images are from The Roomate (starring Leighton Meester and Minka Kelly), Death at a Funeral (starring Peter Dinklage, Danny Glover, Martin Lawrence, James Marsden, Tracy Morgan, Chris Rock, Zoë Saldaña), and Takers (starring Matt Dillon, Paul Walker, Idris Elba, Jay Hernandez, and Hayden Christensen).
Also, while they didn’t release any images, they did provide the first synopsis for Burlesque which stars Cher, Christina Aguilera, Eric Dane, Cam Gigandet, Julianne Hough, Peter Gallagher, Alan Cumming, Kristen Bell and Stanley Tucci.
Check out everything after the jump. It’s posted by release date.

“Takers” is a film that was completely off of my radar until just now. I think I only glanced at the film’s title while doing some research through the “always reliable” IMDB and I’ve since completely forgotten about it until right now. Anyway, I don’t know if you guys are anticipating it or not, but the film now has a trailer. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s about a group of bank robbers and it stars Idris Elba, Paul Walker, Matt Dillon, Chris Brown, Jay Hernandez, T.I. , and Hayden Christensen.
