The latest issue of Entertainment Weekly has some new images from the upcoming James Bond flick, Skyfall. The new images throw some of the spotlight on the new Bond girl (Berenice Marlohe) and the villain, Silva (Javier Bardem). There’s nothing particularly revealing about the images, but after watching the excellent new trailers, I’m down for any fresh glimpses of the movie until the ads start revealing the whole damn thing a month before the release date.
Hit the jump to check out the images. The film also stars Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCroy, Albert Finney, and Ralph Fiennes. Skyfall opens November 9th. [Update: EW has released a number of new images, which are now included after the jump]

The first official image from Pacific Rim showed off Idris Elba, and now we have a look at co-stars Charlie Hunnam and Rinko Kikuchi. The film centers on giant robots known as “Jaegers” fighting off giant monsters called “Kaiju”. Hunnam and Kikuchi play a washed-up pilot and untested trainee, respectively. The duo must use a seemingly obsolete Jaeger to stand as mankind’s last hope against the Kaiju. As you can see, Hunnam and Kikuchi are wearing the same flight suits as Elba’s character, but I have no idea what’s going on with the codpiece on Hunnam’s outfit. I guess if a giant monster hits you in the balls, you want to be well protected.
Hit the jump to check out the image. The film also stars Max Martini, Rob Kazinsky, Clifton Collins Jr., and Diego Klattenhoff. Pacific Rim opens July 12, 2013.

A new image from Tony Gilroy‘s The Bourne Legacy has gone online. We had previously seen set photos of co-star Rachel Weisz, but this is the first official image of Weisz’ mysterious character, Marta, and we see her standing next to the new Jason Bourne (Jeremy Renner). Wesiz is tight-lipped about her character details, telling EW “What am I allowed to say? I think almost nothing at all.” I didn’t really think the veil of super-secrecy extended to a Bourne movie (it’s not like she’s playing a character we already know from some other medium), but perhaps she has a more complex role than simply a love-interest who gets swept up in Bourne’s intrigue (a la Franke Potente in The Bourne Identity).
Hit the jump to check out the image. The film also stars Edward Norton, Oscar Isaac, Joan Allen, David Strathairn, Albert Finney, Stacy Keach, Scott Glenn, Corey Stoll and Donna Murphy. The Bourne Legacy opens August 3rd.

New images from The Dark Knight Rises have gone online. Don’t expect anything revelatory, but I’m curious to know what’s caused that look of shock on Bane’s face. Has Batman defeated part of Bane’s plan? Is Bane looking at the Batwing for the first time? Has Bane realized he just missed out on Taco Tuesdays? We’ll have to wait and find out.
Hit the jump to check out the images, click here to see overpriced TDKR merchandise, and click here to find out when the Bat-pod and Tumbler are coming to your city this summer. The film stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, and Michael Caine. The Dark Knight Rises opens July 20th.

Prometheus is continuing its full-scale marketing push even though the film doesn’t open for over two months. After several trailers and TV spots, Ridley Scott‘s sci-fi horror film is the cover story in the latest issue of Empire magazine. The story provides new images from the movie along with details on the plot and characters. Reading these details is the tipping point for me, and I’m going to try and keep myself in the dark as much as possible on this movie. I know that it involves scientists and astronauts seeking out an ancient extraterrestrial race, and then bad things happen. Good enough for me.
Hit the jump to check out the magazine scans, which contain info on the plot and characters, and to read Scott’s comments on the rating of the film. The film stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Idris Elba, Rafe Spall, Sean Harris, Logan Marshall-Green, and Charlize Theron. Prometheus opens in 3D on June 8th.

The latest issue of Entertainment Weekly has a new image from Andrew Stanton‘s John Carter. The movie centers on a former Confederate soldier who finds himself suddenly transported to Mars and put in the middle of an epic conflict between the planet’s inhabitants. John Carter is rumored to have an insane budget and while the movie comes out in March, Disney has held off on the marketing and hasn’t built awareness beyond the trailer from July, an edit bay visit, and showing clips at D23 (clips the rest of us haven’t seen). Obviously, there’s still time to get everyone’s attention, but when you think about how much lead time the studio gave to The Muppets compared to a movie based on the less well-known John Carter of Mars, it’s a little difficult to understand why we’re just now getting another image. Hopefully, we’re about to see a lot more and get a better sense of what Stanton’s conjured.
Hit the jump to check out the full image. The film stars Taylor Kitsch, Lynn Collins, Samantha Morton, Mark Strong, Ciaran Hinds, Dominic West, James Purefoy, Daryl Sabara, Polly Walker, Bryan Cranston, Thomas Hayden Church, and Willem Dafoe. John Carter opens in 3D on March 9th. [Update: We've updated the article with an official version of the image.]

A couple days ago, we showed you the covers for the new issue of Empire Magazine featuring Batman (Christian Bale) and Bane (Tom Hardy) from Christopher Nolan‘s The Dark Knight Rises. The magazine has now hit stores, and scans have started hitting the Internet along with new details about the movie contained in the article. We’ll update these lo-res images with higher quality versions as soon as they become available. But I can say right now that I totally love the one of Bane holding up a photo of Harvey Dent. If we ran caption contests on the site, I would use that image in a heartbeat. I look at that image and I instantly think “Has anyone seen this district attorney? He was last seen being burned alive. This image may only be half-accurate.”
The issue also contains some major new details about the movie including how much time has passed since The Dark Knight. Hit the jump to check out the images and new details about the film. The Dark Knight Rises opens July 20, 2012.

It would have been nice to see Dredd make a showing at this year’s Comic-Con, but we’re still getting a look at the new adaptation of the 2000 A.D. comic Judge Dredd. We recently got the first image of Karl Urban as the title character and now Empire Magazine has three more stills from the flick. One of the shots is the first look at Olivia Thirlby (Juno) as rookie Judge Cassandra Anderson. Not much is known about the plot other than it will be more faithful to the comic than the 1995 Sylvester Stallone film, and that Lena Headey (Game of Thrones) is playing the villain. [Update: We've now added the Empire cover which shows Karl Urban frowning like there's no tomorrow.] [Update 2: We've added six more images including one of Headey as the villainous clan leader Ma-Ma]
Hit the jump to check out the images. Dredd opens in 3D on September 21, 2012.

The latest issue of Empire puts new Transformers: Dark of the Moon Autobot Sentinel Prime on the cover alongside Optimus Prime. If you weren’t a fan of robot beards from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, that’s too bad. Sentinal Prime not only has facial hair, he has braided facial hair. It shows that not only will he whoop some Decepticon ass, but he’ll go listen to your jam band afterwards.
Hit the jump to check out Sentinal Prime along with some other minor spoilers on the upcoming sequel. Transformers: Dark of the Moon stars Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Josh Duhamel, John Malkovich, Tyrese Gibson, Frances McDormand, and Ken Jeong. The film opens in 3D on July 1st.

So now that we’ve seen Chris Evans in his various costumes for Captain America: The First Avenger, what about his sidekick Bucky Barnes? Sebastian Stan (Gossip Girl) is playing Barnes and we finally have a shot of him. It’s not a particularly good shot since it’s a close-up and is a low-resolution scan from Première magazine, but it’s a shot nonetheless. The magazine also has a look at some HYDRA soldiers as well as a pre-transformation Red Skull (Hugo Weaving) in silhouette.
Hit the jump to check out the images. Captain America: The First Avenger opens in 3D on July 22nd. [Update: We've updated the story with a high-resolution image of Sebastian Stan as Bucky]

The new issue of Entertainment Weekly has a new image of Chris Evans in his costume from Captain America: The First Avenger. Does the costume with the helmet look dorky? A little. I’m not really bothered by the helmet as much as I’m wondering why his biceps have their own abs. Also, maybe it’s just the way the pants are situated, but it looks like Little Cappy is somewhat aroused.
