Greek has been a delightful show for the last three years. The B-plots are often silly, and there’s no real edge to the depiction of frat life. But the writers have developed a likeable group of core characters, and expanded each beyond a single dimension by writing to the actors’ strengths.
ABC Family announced in February this fourth season would be Greek’s last. The show with that kind of final notice is rare, which gives me every reason to hope for a great signoff with the focus of a show that squeezed just over two years of college into four seasons. Hit the jump for a review of the first two episodes of season four.

It’s unnecessary to poke fun at Twilight and The Twilight Saga: New Moon because both films are funny (albeit unintentionally) enough on their own. However, parody of these silly movies is always appreciated. Earlier this week, Conan O’Brien had a very special message for parents as he warned them of some of the risqué behavior in New Moon.
Today, Brandon Routh (Superman Returns) and Martha MacIsaac (Superbad) have a goddamn hilarious send-up of an overlooked question of the Twilight series as well as other vampire-human romance stories: wouldn’t menstrual blood drive vampires insane? And how could you keep your dumb romance alive if your vamp boyfriend literally wanted to kill you during your period? The painfully hilarious answers to these questions are after the jump.
