While we now have the release schedule for Marvel’s second wave of films, we might just happen to have an early logline for what may be their most ambitious project, Guardians of the Galaxy.  Get your heaping spoon of salt ready to take with this news because screenwriter Chris McCoy was just hired a short time ago, with a previous draft turned in by Nicole Perlman.  What we know for a certainty at this point is that the film will include Drax the Destroyer, Groot, StarLord, Rocket Raccoon and Gamora, and that the film will release on August 1st, 2014.  Hit the jump for the (possible) logline and more on Guardians of the Galaxy.
