We’ve seen unofficial set photos but today the first official image from Joe Carnahan’s upcoming adaptation of the popular TV series, “The A-Team”, has landed online. There’s not much to say other than they are indeed a team of men, they resemble the characters from the TV show, and before every mission they apparently oil themselves up to become as shiny as possible.
Hit the jump to see the full photo along with a brief synopsis. “The A-Team” is slated to hit theaters on June 11th, 2010.

Yesterday we showed you a behind-the-scenes look at an action scene being filmed right now for Michel Gondry’s “The Green Hornet” starring Seth Rogen, Jay Chou, Cameron Diaz, and Christoph Waltz. We’ve also shown you the van from Joe Carnahan’s “The A-Team” looking like, well, a van.
But today we’ve got some must see behind-the-scenes shots from “The Green Hornet” and “The A-Team”. Someone took some great photos of Rogen (and it’s definitely Rogen because you can see his stunt guy in the background) and Chou in their hero get-ups and Rogen’s weight-loss really paid off because that suit suits him fine. As for “The A-Team”, the first shot of the team together has landed online and it’s a bit surreal to see Liam Neeson with white hair or Sharlto Copley standing next to Bradley Cooper. Hit the jump and see these exciting set photos from both films. [Update: We've added some more photos from the A-Team]

You know how last week we were all excited that Sharlto Copley had broken through in a big way by getting cast as one of the leads in Joe Carnahan’s upcoming “A-Team” alongside Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, and Rampage Jackson? And that Jessica Biel was also on board? Ummm….well, we accidentally missed one, very cool additional bit of casting. Hit the jump to find out how Patrick Wilson is getting into the mix.

The feature adaptation of TV’s “The A-Team” is currently shooting in Canada and today photos of one of the film’s central characters popped up online. Is it Liam Neeson as Hannibal? Bradley Cooper as Faceman? Nope, it’s the van. How do we know that this is indeed “The A-Team” van back in action? Simple. The “new” van looks eerily similar to the van used in the original 1980s TV series. See it kick up dust after the jump.

We wrote about this a couple of days ago, but it seems that the rumors are now being confirmed. This summer’s breakout star, Sharlto Copley, from “District 9″ is now in final negotiations to portray “Howling Mad” Murdock in director Joe Carnahan’s adaptation of the cult 1980′s television show, “The A-Team”.
Not only will Copley be joining the team but we also now have news that Jessica Biel will be joining the rouge squad as the former love of “Faceman” (Bradley Cooper). Don’t you love it when a plan comes together? You can get some more details when you hit the jump.

If you saw “District 9″, you might be surprised to learn Sharlto Copley (Wikus Van De Merwe) had never acted in a feature film before. While the film was great due to many reasons, Sharlto’s performance was definitely one of the highlights. So it shouldn’t come as any surprise that Sharlto is in demand as an actor, and according to Blackfilm, Sharlto has been offered the role of Capt. H.M. “Howling Mad” Murdock in 20th Century Fox’s “The A-Team”. More after the jump:

The guy playing the role of Sgt. Bosco A. Baracus is named “Rampage Jackson”. If this doesn’t tell you that Joe Carnahan knows what he’s doing with his adaptation of the 1983 television series, “The A-Team”. You don’t want a name-actor in the role of BA Baracus. The role was made famous by Mr. T. You don’t want an actor with nuance who can get to the core of B.A. You don’t even want to a guy who can “do justice to the role”. You want a guy named “Rampage Jackson”. Hit the jump to learn more about about “Rampage Jackson” and why I’ll never get tired of that name.
