As if remake fever sweeping over the motion picture industry wasn’t enough, now it seems the TV industry has caught the bug. Hawaii Five-0 already hit the flickering box this season, and remakes of both The Munsters and Wonder Woman are on the way too. Now EW reports Battlestar Galactica creator Ronald Moore is developing a remake of the classic 1960′s series The Wild Wild West. However, the project is very, very early in development with Moore being weeks or even months away from shopping it around to networks. No details on how the series will be updated, but the original CBS program, which ran from 1965 to 1969, follows Secret Service agents who get reassigned to the Old West. The series was adapted into an awful movie back in the late 90′s featuring Will Smith and Kevin Kline, but let’s keep that in the attic where it belongs. Anyone interested?

Ronald Moore and Joss Whedon seem to be trading actors lately. First Tahmoh Penikett, who played Helo on “Battlestar Galactica,” joined the cast of “Dollhouse” last year. Now James Marsters, best known as Spike on Whedon’s “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Angel,” is joining Moore’s BSG prequel series, “Caprica.” That’s not all though. Patton Oswalt is joining the cast as well. Fun, right? More after the jump.

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA Season 4.5 DVD Review

Finally, the last Battlestar Galactica episodes have been released to the world of DVD! This is important because I watched the series strictly on DVD, and not as they aired on television. For the record, I have been dying to know what the heck happened to the rag-tag fleet and a bunch of dispirited cylons after they found earth, and amazingly, with the exception of a few small plot details, I was unable to predict how the series finally ended. My review of the DVD and season is after the jump:
