If you need an example of why I no longer watch Family Guy, you need look no further than this trailer for the show’s parody of The Empire Strikes Back, Something, Something Something, Dark Side.  I used to be one of the show’s most ardent fans before it was cancelled.  I was so happy when Fox brought it back and then I discovered that the show just wanted to recycle all of its old jokes.  That’s why you’ll see the Giant Chicken as Boba Fett or an AT-AT grabbing its knee like Peter did in the Willy Wonka episode back in 2000.  But hey, it’s a Star Wars parody and you don’t see a lot of those so hit the jump and check out the trailer for Something, Something, Something Dark Side.  The hour-long episode will be available on DVD and Blu-ray on December 22^nd.
