“Resident Evil” director Paul W.S. Anderson and his long time production partner Jeremy Bolt have acquired the film rights to the novel “The Warded Man”.  The novel (released as “The Painted Man” here in the US) is the first in the planned three part “Demon Cycle” fantasy-adventure series from author Peter V.
