The plot synopsis for Transformers: The Dark of the Moon has inadvertently been revealed via the Amazon description for the Transformers 3 Push-Pops. For folks who want to avoid spoilers (although seriously, it’s Transformers for God’s sake), I’ve put the synopsis after the jump.
Transformers: The Dark of the Moon is in 3D, directed by Michael Bay, and stars Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Alan Tudyk, Ken Jeong, Patrick Dempsey, and John Malkovich. The film is slated to open on July 1, 2011.

Transformers 3 now has its official title and that title is: Transformers: The Dark of the Moon. TFW2005 first discovered the title through the listing of some upcoming movie tie-in novels, “Transformers: The Dark of the Moon – Secret of the Autobots“, “Transformers: The Dark of the Moon – Autobots Betrayed!“, and “Transformers: The Dark of the Moon: Invasion of the Decepticons” (all three novels are set to be released on May 17, 2011). We have now confirmed the title with sources close to the production. Nothing is known about the plot of the third film and the title doesn’t really provide any hints. Personally, I think the title “The Dark of the Moon” would work just as well for a sexy R&B album.
