New JONAH HEX Trailer Starring Josh Brolin and Megan Fox

With a June 18 release date fast approaching, Warner Bros. has released a second trailer for Jonah Hex.  While the first trailer focused on the story of Jonah Hex, the second trailer is all about selling the action and letting you know the film has a supernatural element.  And you know what…it works.  While I agreed with Matt’s assessment that the first trailer was all over the place, by not trying to do too much in the second trailer, I think more will be interested in the film.

To help prepare for a ton of Jonah Hex movie articles that are coming Thursday morning, I screen grabbed 36 high-resolution images from the recently released trailer.  While you may have already watched the trailer, I’m pretty sure you missed a bunch of stuff if you only saw it once.  I was very surprised how many cool images I was able to grab from it.  Hit the jump to look them over and check back Thursday morning for a ton of Hex coverage:

The trailer for Jonah Hex has gone online and I don’t think it’s going to remove any of the doubts raised by the 11th-hour marketing.  The footage I saw of the film at last year’s Comic-Con was very simple and very bad-ass: Jonah Hex (Josh Brolin) kills everyone.  His line in the trailer about his enemies needing eight coffins instead of five isn’t going to get that idea across (of course, this is provided the final cut of the film still holds to Hex-Murders-the-World).

But the biggest problem is that this trailer is all over the place.  It’s a vengeance story in the old west but Hex also has superpowers and everybody wants to fight him for some reason.  The weapons look cool, but on the whole the trailer seems like it’s trying too hard.

With Warner Bros. Jonah Hex movie getting released June 18, the studio has finally ramped up their marketing campaign with a new poster and the first trailer.  While the trailer won’t be online till Thursday night, we posted a ten second preview yesterday.  But while you wait for the trailer, the studio has given us the poster and you can take check it out after the jump.

While the new poster is supposed to get everyone excited, I’m actually not that impressed.  I prefer the one they released at Comic-Con as it was simple and looked cool.  The new one seems way too crowded and you’re not sure where to look.  Perhaps character posters are coming.  Let’s hope so.

New CLASH OF THE TITANS Movie Posters in High Resolution

Warner Bros. has sent over high resolution versions of all the new Clash of the Titans movie posters that recently hit the net.  Originally scheduled for release on March 26 and in 2D, WB has moved the release date to April 2 and Clash is now going to be a 3D release.  While I have no idea how they were able to get this done so quickly, if they were able to make Clash look cool in 3D, I’m all for it.

As of now, there have been no test screenings of the film, and I don’t know anyone that’s seen the final version.  But I was on the set last year and what I saw looked awesome.  Look for my set report on the 18th – along with interviews with the cast.  Hit the jump to check out the posters in high res:
