This Valentine’s Day, 20th Century Fox is releasing the latest entry in the Die Hard franchise, A Good Day to Die Hard, and today the studio has unveiled a new featurette for the film.  Rather than focusing on the upcoming film, this featurette actually provides a nice look back at the series as a whole.  It plays like a supercut of 25 years of Die Hard, and also acts as a reminder that the Die Hard: 25th Anniversary Blu-ray Collection is now available to purchase.  If you haven’t signed up for our contenst to win a copy of the Blu-ray set, I highly suggest you do so right here.

Hit the jump to watch the featurette “A Walk Down Memory McClane.”  A Good Day to Die Hard opens on February 14th.

Here’s the official synopsis for A Good Day to Die Hard:

Iconoclastic, take-no-prisoners cop John McClane, for the first time, finds himself on foreign soil after traveling to Moscow to help his wayward son Jack–unaware that Jack is really a highly-trained CIA operative out to stop a nuclear weapons heist. With the Russian underworld in pursuit, and battling a countdown to war, the two McClanes discover that their opposing methods make them unstoppable heroes.

I’ve never been so pumped to see a movie that I’m pretty sure will be bad. Still pissed they got a hack director like John Moore to do this but, this is the same thing I said when Die Hard 4 came out and I was completely surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Hopefully this will turn out the same.
Either way, I’ll be there opening night cause I love these movies.
