This one sort of came out of nowhere for me, but here it is, ready for holiday release in less than a month.  Robin Williams and Joel McHale star in A Merry Friggin' Christmas, the trailer of which just hit this morning.  The movie looks fine I guess, but it's still hard for me to contextually separate Williams' upcoming work from his untimely passing.  Though I'm sure that stuff will fade away while watching the actual movie.

The film also stars Clarke Duke, Lauren Graham, Oliver Platt, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Tim Heidecker and Candice Bergen. Hit the jump to check out the A Merry Friggin' Christmas trailer and poster.  The film opens on November 7th from eOne Entertainment.

Here's the official synopsis:

A Merry Friggin' Christmas follows Boyd Mitchler (Joel McHale) and his wife Luann (Lauren Graham) as they spend a dreaded Chrismas with Boyd's father Mitch (Robin Williams) and his family of misfits. Upon realizing that he has left all of his son's gifts at home, Boyd hits the road with his father and younger brother in an attempt to make the 8-hour round trip before sunrise.
