A New Look at Anne Hathaway as The White Queen in Tim Burton’s ALICE IN WONDERLAND

     July 14, 2009

While I imagine we’re still months away from any official footage or trailers for Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” (although folks attending the film’s panel at this year’s Comic-Con will hopefully get a tiny peek at the film), hi-res photos of the cast dressed in their whimsical outfits and make-up continue to pop up online.  Empire just landed an exclusive look at Anne Hathaway as The White Queen holding what appears to be the Dormouse, a sleepy little rodent from the book.  As for The White Queen, she’s an ally of Alice’s but can be less-than-helpful as she lives backwards through time.  And as for me, through the magic of Wikipedia, I can pretend like I know what I’m talking about even though I’ve never read the book.
