Ava DuVernay is a filmmaker who deserves to be celebrated, I’m eager to see her adaptation of A Wrinkle in Time. The book has never received a big screen adaptation before, and judging by the trailers, DuVernay’s vision is brimming with imagination. And yet, it also looks like the kind of PG adventure movie studios don’t really make anymore. I don’t know how the finished feature will turn out, but DuVernay has more than earned the benefit of the doubt, and I’m eager to see her spin on the material.

I’m pleased to announce we’re giving away 10 admit-two passes to the Atlanta screening of A Wrinkle in Time. To enter for a chance to see the movie early and for free, send an e-mail to Collider.Passes@gmail.com with the subject line “A WRINKLE IN TIME”. The screening is Tuesday, March 6 at 7:30PM at Regal Atlantic Station, so please don’t enter if you think you’ll be unavailable. Multiple entries from a single person will disqualify all entries from that person. Please note that these are physical passes, so if you win, you’ll need to provide a mailing address so I can send you your pass.

Check out the A Wrinkle in Time trailer below. The film opens March 9th.

Here’s the official synopsis for A Wrinkle in Time:

From visionary director Ava DuVernay comes Disney’s “A Wrinkle in Time,” an epic adventure based on Madeleine L’Engle’s timeless classic which takes audiences across dimensions of time and space,  examining the nature of darkness versus light and, ultimately, the triumph of love. Through one girl’s transformative journey led by three celestial guides, we discover that strength comes from embracing one’s individuality and that the best way to triumph over fear is to travel by one’s own light.
