ABC to air LOST Special called THE ANSWERS on May 17th

     April 30, 2007

ABC has just announced a special “Lost” episode called “The Answers” that’ll air on May 17th and be hosted by Executive Producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse – the masterminds behind the show.

While many of you have dropped “Lost” from your must see TV each week, I’m here to tell you this season might be the best yet asit’s answering tons of the island mysteries every week.Alsothe best part of this current season is the no repeats. Every Wednesday there is a new episode at 10pm and it seems like there are no wasted episodes or fillers – each week is building towards something that I know will be cool.

As some know already know next season most likely won’t premiere until January and then be all new all season long. During the hiatus you’ll have plenty of time to catch up and come back.

Anyway, here is the info on the upcoming episode called “The Answers”. What the show aims to do is “take an in-depth look at the mysteries of both the island and its inhabitants and recap the secrets that have been revealed, as well as those that remain unanswered.”

And that’s the part I love, how the producers realize they’ll have to answer most of the big questions if they want the show to go down in history as one that’ll be remembered fondly rather than one that became the “X-Files”. Damon Lindelof has discussed since the beginning that the show won’t fuck the fans… I’m holding him to that.

Below the “Lost: The Answers” press release is info on a two upcoming episodes that’ll both air on May 16th. One airs at 9pm and one at 10pm. Be warned, spoilers.
