New Trailer for ABOUT LAST NIGHT Starring Kevin Hart, Regina Hall, Michael Ealy, and Joy Bryant

     September 23, 2013

A new trailer has just landed for director Steve Pink’s remake of the comedy About Last Night.  The film stars Kevin Hart (Think Like a Man) whose character’s relationship with his girlfriend (Regina Hall) is going stale, even as he sets his friend (Michael Ealy) up with his girl’s roommate (Joy Bryant).  There are plenty of honest laughs to be found but Hart absolutely steals every scene he’s in (at least in this trailer).

See what Pink had to say about the film in a recent interview, and keep an eye out for interviews with Hart, Hall and Ealy.  Hit the jump to watch the new trailer.  Also starring Paula PattonAbout Last Night opens February 14, 2014.

A modern reimagining of the classic romantic comedy, this contemporary version closely follows new love for two couples as they journey from the bar to the bedroom and are eventually put to the test in the real world.

“They Did An All “You People” Version of Hello, Dolly That Was Very Successful”

they are still doing this? You know say what you want about Tyler Perry at least he creates original films.

I just realized Hollywood’s been hiding shitty reboots of shitty films behind black casts for years.

    The Nutty Professor
    Dr Doolittle
    The Honeymooners
    Steel Magnolias
    The Karate Kid

    and more to come.

    It’s such a damn scam.

Because instead of saying stupid shit like this, you’d say gee I’m tired of the same films with all my people in it, this isn’t how the world looks you fucking moron–tired of stupid fucks like you

I am tired of the toughest guys on the internet acting like badasses. Look keyboard killer if you have a problem comprehending what I said then express yourself like an adult. Save the tough guy routine for when you meet someone face to face. See how far it takes you.

Hollywood is manipulating black people with this shit easily because black audiences are starved for content they can relate to. Hollywood is pushing junk out to black audiences pure and simple. They know that these products are shit and they know that if they put more than one black actor in the lead they can push it towards the “urban” community and at least get that audiences money.

For you to hide behind your righteous indignation and social justice warrior pearl clutching is fucking sad. Get back to your women’s studies class, this isn’t reddit.
