Adam Sandler Reteams with Director Frank Coraci for Untitled Rom-Com at Warner Bros.

     March 8, 2013

Adam Sandler and director Frank Coraci are set to team up for a fourth time on an untitled romantic comedy for Warner Bros.  The two previously collaborated on Click, The Wedding Singer and The Waterboy; Coraci also directed the Kevin James-starrer Zookeeper, which Sandler produced.  The pic centers on “a couple who, after disastrous blind date, are stuck together in a family resort with their children from previous marriages.”   Ivan Menchell (Jonas) and Claire Sera penned the original script and is undergoing a rewrite by Rodney Rothman (Grudge Match). Variety reports that Happy Madison will produce and the studio is now seeking its female lead before production begins this May.

Jesus Christ! Will someone please put Sandler out of his misery. His schtick ceased to be amusing in the least years ago.

I’m going to say something positive, so I’m not negative. I have some old blurry bootlegs of Saturday night live from 1993 when Sandler was one. What a show it was. Funny, funny stuff I love to watch. Rob Schneider was in the cast, too.

There. I didn’t say anything negative.:)
