Adrien Brody to Antagonize in MOTOR CITY; Jason Momoa to Play the Villain in David Hayter’s WOLVES
Everyone loves a villain, especially when those villains are played by Adrien Brody (Predators) and Jason Momoa (Conan the Barbarian). Brody is in talks to antagonize Gerard Butler (300) in Motor City, a revenge thriller scripted by Chad St. John (The Punisher: Dirty Laundry) and directed by Albert Hughes (Fro Hell). Momoa will star in Wolves, the directorial debut of David Hayter, the writer of 2000’s X-Men. The supernatural flick has Lucas Till (X-Men: First Class) going up against Momoa in a battle of werewolves (Good luck, Till). Hit the jump for more on both pictures.
In other villainous news, Variety also reports that Momoa will play the werewolf patriarch of Lupine Ridge, a small town with a history of supernatural events. Till’s character, a werewolf falsely accused of murdering his own parents, attempts to find sanctuary in the town when he goes on the run. They also report that Merritt Patterson (The Hole) has joined the production. Writer/director Hayter will begin production on Wolves next month in Toronto. X-Men: First Class make-up supervisor Dave Elsey will design the creature effects and make-up for Wolves, as well. Check out what he had to say about the violent and bloody picture in his recent interview with Steve.
