Two New TV Spots for AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Remind Us It’s a “Make or Break Moment”

     September 1, 2014

I heard that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. improved once the show was transformed by the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and I hope that the new season is good enough to bring back those who abandoned the show earlier in season one (myself included).  As Coulson points out in one of two new TV spots, “This is a make or break moment.”  Perhaps working “in the shadows” is a better approach for the series and now that expectations have been lowered, it can bounce back.  And if not, there’s still Agent Carter to look forward to.

Hit the jump to check out the new Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV spots.  Season two premieres Tuesday, September 23rd at 9pm, and stars Clark Gregg, Chloe Bennet, Brett Dalton, Ming-Na Wen, Iain De Caestecker, and Elizabeth Henstridge.

@ Matt: you should really try it again with Season 2 . It’s not that bad as many reported ;)

      Not. It’s worst.

everybody should make their own opinion.

this show suffered from some of the worst writing on television … they had decent characters and the acting is pretty decent … the story was just unfocused, drawn out, and just plain boring. maybe season 2 will be better.

I gave up on this show 2/3 of the way through the pilot episode. I don’t know if I can stomach 10 hours of it until it gets good.

The first season really picked up as we got closer to Winter Soldier, and Im excited to watch Season 2. My big worry is, Is the show just gunna drag it’s feet story wise until the next Marvel film comes along? A lot of good came out of the end of season 1, and I hope now the show can now stand on it’s own without having to rely on the MCU.

I really can’t get into any series that has 24-ish episodes per season nowadays. Too much filler.

As soon as Hydra went live the entire show became awesome.
And I hated the first half with a PASSION, but the thing is – it’s very silliness and seemingly poor writing made the remorseless, vicious and seemingly endless betrayals something truly epic and amazing to behold. What I’m saying is this: What many of you hated in the first half of the season was what they WANTED you to hate (granted, the whole 24 episode thing made that first half way too long), so give the rest of it a shot. You will NOT regret it.

This show started out pretty disappointing but by the end of the season I was a fan. Looking forward to season 2 and I do hope they can really get this show to the quality it needs to be.
