Join Will Link, Arron Fenton, Mike Medina and Josh Macuga as they breakdown Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 3, episode 7, entitled “Chaos Theory.”

Now that Andrew’s (Blair Underwood) secret is out, we finally get a glimpse of how he became Lash. Terrigen mist trapped in one of Jiaying’s books he was researching was unleashed and now he’s struggling to control the inhuman killing monster inside him. May (Ming-Na Wen) has decided to confront Andrew on her own but before he can “lash out,” he ices her. However Lincoln has also started to suspect Lash’s true identity and brings the information to S.H.I.E.L.D. Along with the ATCU the team confronts Andrew, who quickly transforms.

After taking out much of the group, it’s May who is the one with the ability to finally talk him down. Elsewhere Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) is still working hard to save Will, but it’s simultaneously breaking his heart. Meanwhile Coulson and Rosalind are getting closer both on the job and off. Daisy still questions the ATCU’s methods and lets Rosalind know it. But as we see in the end, is Daisy right to be untrustworthy of Rosalind? Could she possibly be working with Hydra?

On the recap show, Josh basks in all the deserved glory of correctly predicting Lash’s true identity. They debate just how in control Andrew is when it comes to Lash and if he had any control, why didn’t he ask to be put in stasis? Lincoln has become part of the team and there are mixed feelings about it. The crew debates if Rosalind is really a villain or is she being played too. They talk about how revenge is motivating everyone from Hunter to Ward and how that can be a liability in the field. And finally they discuss where we’re at with the Fitz/Simmons romance.
