We've known about the (ill-advised?) sequel to Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland for awhile -- titled Alice Through the Looking Glass -- but now we're getting our first glimpses of the film through two posters Disney revealed at their expo today. And the bottom line is, whether you loved or hated the movie, it made a pile of money (over $1 billion worldwide), so a sequel shouldn't be a surprise.

Though we don't know the plot yet, I think we can safely say it will be trippy (but will it be as terrifying as this scene from the 1985 film adaptation?), particularly since the posters feature Alice and her technicolor dreamcoat, as well as the Mad Hatter and his Doctor Who scarf. The sequel will not be directed by Tim Burton, but by James Bobbin (Muppets Most Wanted), and will feature Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, and Helena Bonham Carter all reprising their previous roles.

Check out the posters below, and let us know what you think. Alice Through the Looking Glass is set to premiere May 27, 2016.
