The album, which is being called Almost Alice, will be in stores in March 2nd, with a video for the soundtrack’s first single, “Alice (Underground)” by Avril Lavigne, due in early February.  Hit the jump for the full track listing:

From Walt Disney Pictures and visionary director Tim Burton comes an epic 3D fantasy adventure ALICE IN WONDERLAND, a magical and imaginative twist on some of the most beloved stories of all time.  JOHNNY DEPP stars as the Mad Hatter and MIA WASIKOWSKA as 19-year-old Alice, who returns to the whimsical world she first encountered as a young girl, reuniting with her childhood friends:  the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Dormouse, the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat, and of course, the Mad Hatter.  Alice embarks on a fantastical journey to find her true destiny and end the Red Queen’s reign of terror.  The all-star cast also includes ANNE HATHAWAY, HELENA BONHAM CARTER and CRISPIN GLOVER. The screenplay is by Linda Woolverton.

Capturing the wonder of Lewis Carroll’s beloved “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” (1865) and “Through the Looking-Glass” (1871) with stunning, avant-garde visuals and the most charismatic characters in literary history, ALICE IN WONDERLAND comes to the big screen in Disney Digital 3DTM on March 5, 2010.

at least the song titles don't reveal all of the plot points!! like avatar: “the destruction of hometree,” “grace's death,” etc…..

    • Yeah... @

That’s because this isn’t the real soundtrack. This is the “inspired” soundtrack.
Funny enough, the REAL soundtrack has slightly more revealing an obvious names like “Down the Hole” “Drink Me” ect.

  2. Gorf @

Well, seeing as both Alice In Wonderland and Alice Through The Looking Glass are over a century old and widely read around the world, are there really any plot points that can be spoiled at this point?

    • SoccerMamma @

well, the story plot is different and the graphics are unbelievable so this is a very good movie and it isnt the exact same as the book. My daughter loved it and my son is 16 and he liked it too. :)

      I agree they are AWESOME!
and “Alice” and “Strange” are the only songs i like on here. TOKIO HOTEL RULES MANN!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. maggie89 @

lol word. and also, considering avatar's story is copied from dozens of other movies (“pocahontas,” “the last samurai,” “dances with wolves”), it didn't really spoil anything for me either… but still.

  5. nyrcallahan24 @

soooo excited about all time low <3

  6. Mackenzie @

    TOKIO HOTEL <3333333

  7. Mackenzie @

So do I, I'm so excited!

  8. JJ @

Well, seeing as the synopsis says “Alice, who returns to the whimsical world she first encountered as a young girl,” yeah, there are plenty of plot points that can be spoiled at this point. It's a sequel to the classic books, it seems.

  9. Taylor @

this is really crappy music except for the robert smith/motion city/grace potter and the nocturnals and hmm that's it. i would normally like anything mark hoppus but pete wentz..gross

but owl city and all time low?!! wtaf

  10. NiggerJohnson @

    Fuck.

This is going to suck. SO many shitty “musicians” in one movie. Its going to be an unbelievable blackhole of shit. Good thing I'm skipping out on this movie to watch Oprah.

    FUCC CARROTS.

    • ambybear @

WHAT!!!??? The movie is awesome and so are all the artists!!! Owl City, Tokio Hotel, Avril Lavigne, The All American Regects!!!!!!! They are all some of my favorite artists ever!! YOU are an unbeleivable blackhole of shit!!!!

    • ambybear @

    • Sarah @

These songs aren’t even in the movie btw. They’re just a collection of songs that use Alice in Wonderland as the central theme, it’s not an “official” soundtrack.

  11. HunkyDory @

What the fuck is this bullshit!

  12. niggers @

Metro Station? Avril Lavigne? Owl City? All-American Rejects?? 3OH!3??? All Time Low? Tokio Hotel??? THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT. RUINING MY CHILDHOOD. I DON'T THINK IT'S WORTH WATCHING ANYMORE. FUUUUU TIM BURTON. FU.

    • Anonymous @

then don’t fuck off and do something else where your not damping the moods of others. we don’t care what you think so run along and do what ever miserable thing you would do when your not leaving pointless comments on something you don’t like. SERIOUSLY some people need to grow UP!

    • Amber @

dick sucker…your stupid. this is an amazing soundtrack..i’m surprised they didn’t put brick by boring brick by Paramore on there…it would have gone purfect with the movie..and i HATE your name, btw.

    • Calamitymad @

GET OVER IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great movie, along with Avatar. No matter how many times a movie is being redone, it will always be a great movie in its own right. Besides the classics will always be there.

  13. steffany @

TOKIO HOTEL IS THE VERYY BEST;)

  14. Daniel @

Where's Family Force 5. Their song “Topsy Turvy” was supposed to be on here. That would have made this an awesome soundtrack.

  15. Cat @

wow, come down you spaz. it's just a soundtrack.

  16. Sheena @

i was so hoping Ville Valo was gonna have a track on the soundtrack,i guess the rumors were false :(
cant wait to see the movie though

  17. :p @

this is really the soundtrack? as much as I love the Plain White T's, I was hoping for some Danny Elfman arrangements or something of that nature, not a bunch of pop punk. :/

    • Anonymous @

its not the real soundtrack its almost alice
none of the songs are in the movie all of Danny Elfmans songs are in the movie that would be the soundtrack.

  18. sarahh @

I expected so much more from you, Tim Burton… I must say I'm VERY disappointed with this soundtrack. Really? Avril Lavigne and Owl City and Tokio Hotel? No offence to anyone who likes them, but I don't think they belong on this particular soundtrack.

  19. Heather @

I would think that “Heads Will Roll” by Yeah Yeah Yeahs would have been a good song. Thinking of the queen for that one. But it may not fit – of course haven't seen the movie yet. Next month, right?

  20. Ariel @

Actually, there are suppose to be two soundtracks from what I heard. These are songs that are not going to be in the movie, but are inspired from it. And the other one is the music that is in the movie, like the one that we hear during the previews.

  21. Ariel @

Actually, there are suppose to be 2 soundtracks: One that has these songs and are not in the movie, and another that has the orchestral music, like the stuff that we hear in the previews, that is going to be in the movie. This is like songs that are inspired from the book/movie type thing.

  23. Farrah @

    This is pathetic.
I love Tim Burton and Alice in Wonderland, and this soundtrack fits neither of them.

  24. stupidddcunts. @

It's not the real fucking soundtrack dumb ass, it's “Almost alice”. Fucking idiot. I agree on owl city and all the other pussy bands, but it's not even going to be on the fucking movie!!!!

  25. Pat @

…horrible songs. Hot Topic must be completely thrilled for all their tweeny customers about to be DECKED out in all their hip alice in wonderland merch. could they have picked worse bands? well… exempt robert smith.

  26. a.t @

i actually know the artists on a soundtrack for once- im glad they've gone with an 'updated' and modern approach to the soundtrack just like they did with the movie!

i am particularly pleased with tokio hotel being included- i think they are an amazing band with a great future. shame taylor swift isn't on this but i can see they went with a more rocky sound which i am loving!!!

5 stars even without listening to it!!!!!

  27. roololing @

    it's a different story

  28. genesis03 @

Well it looks like this soundtrack has its ups and downs, but who cares, and the song “alice” it's pretty awesome it's the one they play during the trailer

  29. Elise Morgan @

Robert Smith's song is about the only one who is closest related to the Original Disney version because Alice when she cries in the forest sings “I give myself very good advice”
I like it…BUT WTF is up with Avril's Alice? That song is a crock of shit. And Metro's Station is just fucking awful the song doesnt relate to the story at all. This is mostly a bunch of shit.

  30. Holly @

Finally I have been waiting for this album to come out

  31. Eden @

They used such awesome music, these are some of the greatest bands/ singers ever! There are so few movie soundtracks I am stoked on, but whe I saw this I screamed OMG!!!!! (the acronym not the phrase!) this is gunna be A-MA-ZING!!!

  32. good shit. @

not as shitty as you nigger.

  33. young and fresh @

Robert smith ? etc ? old people .. ? you geezers & your weirdo old people music & pld people. geez. why are you even still listening to music or watching movies ? gtfo

  34. patty @

Plain White T's? ARE YOU SHITTING ME WHAT IS THIS FUCKERY

  35. me @

The movie is based off the book, and the book is about a teenage Alice's return to Wonderland. The cartoon Disney classic was a different adaptation.

  36. Haley @

    The soundtrack SUCKS (:

  37. janasimmons1216 @

all good artist and hopefully songs :)

  38. lizzie @

you guys need to calm down. these songs are inspired by the movie, but are not in it. that's why it's the “almost alice” soundtrack. there's the alice in wonderland soundtrack with the actual songs in it.

  39. summergirl215 @

i looove this soundtrack, best soundtrack ive heard in a long time, makes me even more excited to see this amazing movie

  40. Kennanda @

I thought there was a Family Force 5 song on here? I didn't read any of the previous comments, so if that has already been asked then I'm sorry.

  41. Tana @

Wow, do you have ANY taste in music?!
Why are you alive? Just …why?

  42. Natalie @

Or they could just, y'know, have a DIFFERENT taste in music? Just saying.

  43. Natalie @

Oh man. That would have been awesome.

  44. Rylee @

I think the soundtrack will be awesome :) seriously guys, grow up. I’d rather have these punk/scene artists rather than the old dumbass singers whos lives are stuck in the past.

  45. Rylee @

Owl City?!?! Come on Burton!!! This is about as bad as it gets….

  47. jordy33 @

Owl City?!?! Come on Burton!!! This is about as bad as it gets….

  48. Stephen @

they can’t use these bands that will be around for another few months, it takes so much away from the genuine feel of the movie. It kills any sense of timelessness it might’ve had, I mean we all know its going to be yet another willy wonka/edward scissor hands/everything else tim burton has made. I mean the man has an interesting vision, but he doesn’t know how to change it up a bit. And this music? Its awful. Its got to be a joke. These bands are current in the now bands that won’t be around forever and, well in my opinion, this movie is already a lost cause so you know what why not add insult to injury.

  49. Ria @

lamest soundtrack ever. was this movie meant to be for middle school girls?

  50. Anonymous @

    not watching this anymore
