The album, which is being called Almost Alice, will be in stores in March 2nd, with a video for the soundtrack’s first single, “Alice (Underground)” by Avril Lavigne, due in early February. Hit the jump for the full track listing:

Here’s the synopsis:
From Walt Disney Pictures and visionary director Tim Burton comes an epic 3D fantasy adventure ALICE IN WONDERLAND, a magical and imaginative twist on some of the most beloved stories of all time. JOHNNY DEPP stars as the Mad Hatter and MIA WASIKOWSKA as 19-year-old Alice, who returns to the whimsical world she first encountered as a young girl, reuniting with her childhood friends: the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Dormouse, the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat, and of course, the Mad Hatter. Alice embarks on a fantastical journey to find her true destiny and end the Red Queen’s reign of terror. The all-star cast also includes ANNE HATHAWAY, HELENA BONHAM CARTER and CRISPIN GLOVER. The screenplay is by Linda Woolverton.
Capturing the wonder of Lewis Carroll’s beloved “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” (1865) and “Through the Looking-Glass” (1871) with stunning, avant-garde visuals and the most charismatic characters in literary history, ALICE IN WONDERLAND comes to the big screen in Disney Digital 3DTM on March 5, 2010.

Oh screw you whining complainers, the movie is already made and done, the soundtrack chosen so just get over yourselves. The songs actually fit the scenes in the movie that they paired them with so just stop. Complain AFTER you actually see the movie.

whoa!that’s one heck of an album.
don't worry “topsy turvy” is supposed to be on there as a bonus track.
So the soundtrack may still turn out to be awesome
Where the hell is “The Rabbit Hole: The Dream” by In This Moment. This would have been great for this film!.

Yo buddy chill. The music on the movie is all performed by Danny Elfman – it's whimsical and very good for the movie. So FUUU?
Oh hey, guess what? This isn't the real soundtrack. *facepalm*
franz ferdinand. yay i'm so excited. <3
I feel like they could have picked a lot better of Bands than what the did. But hey, I give them credit for Motion City Soundtrack.

Geez, people. Can’t you see that this is the future? These may be different kinds of songs from rock to jazz to blues or what, but this is how things work. I have always imagined that different songs combined together can make such a smashing story. Just give the movie a chance despite the soundtrack.

I already watched the movie, and it's probably the BEST FREAKING MOVIE EVER!!!!! This isn't the soundtrack! can you people actually believe Tim Burton would use Neon Hitch and Tokio Hotel for ALICE IN WONDERLAND?! He's not that dumb…..see the movie though.
the movie roxs
That's a bitch! They need Jefferson Airplane's version of White Rabbit. I mean, they invented it…and its much better.
does anyone know what the song was that was playing during the credits??

Everything sucks on this except wolfmother!!!!! Where’s Jefferson Airplaine’s ORIGINAL Version of white rabbit. This is bull shit. And no Tom Waits themed Alice songs either wtf? I mean he made a whole album about it and we get stuck with this horrible shit like Avril, 3OH!3, and more shit that hurts my ears! Argh fuck this new Alternitave shit it sucks. You want real Alternative and Punk rock listen to people like TOM WAITS, THE CLASH, THE RAMONES, THE VELVET UNDERGROUND AND LOU REED!

HAVE YOU NO TASTE IN MUSIC?! TAYLOR SWIFT IS HORRIBLE
the movie was so awsome
Owl city? I didnt hear that…
i'm searching for that orchestral song at the start of the movie
i love the movie! wonderfully and simply entertaining! although it's quite different from the plotline in the novel.
paramore's song Brick By Boring Brick would have been a good song cause ever time i listen to it it reminds me of alice
I absolutely Love 'Alice' (underground) and the technicolor phase they are both really catchy and awesome!!!!!!! lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But this isnt the soundtrack this is the album Almost Alice all the music on the soundtrack is composed by Danny Elfman
wow, comment thread = almost as interesting as the actual soundtrack. ALMOST
TOKIO HOTEL
BEST BAND EVERRRRRRR
wow it's crazy how you guys are arguing over what bands/singers are good or bad, everyone has their own taste in music and it's really childish so say someone is stupid or whatever word you want to use to describe someone just because they don't agree on your music type, If you were to date someone that didn't like your “kind” of music are you going to down them? My boyfriend listens to rock and rap music and my fave is country but we don't talk crap about each other, why is it okay to talk bad about someone that you don't even know? How is that even fair?
amazing movie and soundtrack
Yes! All Time Low! I'm so getting the soundtrack!
