We’ve been getting flooded with set photos from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but the latest one is from the director himself, Marc Webb.  Webb has been taking to Twitter to provide snapshots from the production, and today he sent out a photo of the directory for the Ravencroft Institute for the Criminally Insane (i.e. Marvel’s version of Arkham Asylum).  This image is a treasure trove of information.  First off, “Weapon Pickup” and the interrogation room are right next door to each other, so that’s just convenient for everybody.  Secondly, the “Voltage Cells” and the “Medical Inspection Lock-Up” are in the same room?  Is this a vital plot point?  Does Electro (Jamie Foxx) have a close tie to Medical Inspection?  Probably not, but it’s more than likely that Webb knows fans will spot “Voltage Cells” and immediately think of the film’s villain.

Hit the jump to check out the image along with a couple photos of Oscorp, home of leaving doomsday devices out in the open with almost no security whatsoever.  The film also stars Emma Stone, Sally Field, Dane DeHaan, Paul Giamatti, Felicity Jones, Chris Cooper and Martin SheenThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 open in 3D on May 2, 2014.

Here’s the official synopsis for The Amazing Spider-Man 2:

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.
