Yesterday, we showed you the cover of Entertainment Weekly featuring The Amazing Spider-Man 2 along with a new image of Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) and Harry Osborne (Dane DeHaan). Today, more images from EW’s issue have hit online, and they provide another good look at Jamie Foxx as the villain Electro along with more close-ups of Spidey’s vastly improved costume. There’s also an image of Peter and Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) along with an official image of Paul Giamatti as Rhino, who has spruced up his Russian prison tattoos with a little bright green (I really hope that’s not for CG).
Hit the jump to check out the images. The film also stars Felicity Jones, Chris Cooper, and Sally Field. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will have its Comic-Con panel next Friday in Hall H, and hit theaters in 3D on May 2, 2014.
Here’s the official synopsis for The Amazing Spider-Man 2:
In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.
