There aren’t many surprises left when it comes to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx).  We’ve seen him as the meek, pre-Electro Max Dillon, and we’ve seen his blue, veiny visage as Electro.  Now we’ve learned what his voice will sound like as the mutated baddie.  But before he gave the audience at The Tonight Show a sample of his vocal work, he explained Dillon’s wretched hairstyle.  “My sister is my hair stylist and she created the ‘Django’ look; Ray Charles and things like that.”  When it came to Dillon, Foxx explained, “When I’m the nerd guy, I want to be the first black man with a comb-over. I told her, ‘Make me look like I would look if I never made it.’”  The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be truly groundbreaking when it comes to African-American hairstyles.

Here’s the official synopsis for The Amazing Spider-Man 2:

In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

Image search black comb over and you get a bunch of white guys and Andre 3000. The comb over was an idiotic choice that no black guy would ever have.

    “Look out for Dane DeHaan.”

Indeed. He is going to be the next big thing. I really hope Harry Osbourne makes him as big as he deserves to be. He was phenomenal in Chronicle, Lawless, and Place Beyond the Pines. I’m also really hoping they do the New Goblin arc for Osbourne, because Dane does one hell of an evil character.

Not impressed , and no need to tease the voice either.
I guess you can say what you want but at least Jamie seems excited with the role, you know , being new to superhero movies and all :P
