One of the challenges facing Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man is how to bring the film’s villain, The Lizard (played by Rhys Ifans), to life. On the page, you can just see “Oh. I’m pretty sure The Lizard is the easiest villain to translate to screen. He doesn’t wear spandex, and honestly is their can translate the Lord of the Rings and Two Face to screen you’d really have to try to mess him up.

If you look at the closer pictures of his face on that blog. You can see some scale-esque make-up just above his eyes. Also, clearly his arms show skin. This will be more of a hybrid than the typical depicition.
