Considering the fact that there seemed to be a lot of Bob’s Burgers naysayers simply bashing the show because they thought it was a replacement for a soon-to-be-canceled American Dad!, we have some good news Stan Smith and his unique family will be around on Fox for at least one more season as the network announced today that it has renewed the animated series for its seventh season. The renewal just continues Seth MacFarlane’s domination of Fox’s staple Sunday night Animation Domination programming line-up. Though the show doesn’t exactly live up to the quality of Family Guy (yes, I’m still a fan and always will be), the show certainly still delivers quality animated comedy.

great news, im probably one of the very few that prefers American Dad over Family Guy.
Me too. AD has better stories, FG is often just a collection of sketches.
Nope I’m with you. American Dad has been consistently funny every season so far and has a lot of smarter jokes than Family Guy. I also think The Cleveland Show fell off hard in season 2.
I’m with you as well. Much better stories. More interesting characters. Just much more hilarity all around. I’m glad it’s going to be around for at least another season.
meh news, I’m loving Bob’s Burgers so far hope it stays around for awhile. Could care less about the family guy clones.
I used to love FG, but it stopped being funny a few seasons ago. They really ran out of ideas with it. There’s only so much ‘remember that time’ or ‘like that time’ that I can take. AD has been far superior for the last few seasons. This is mainly down to having to rely on putting the characters into crazy situations usually caused by their own shortcomings, as opposed to having a loose plot to drive the ‘remember that time’ quips. The last AD Christmas special was hilarious and the current/last season was the best yet.
