New posters have gone online for American Reunion, Carnage, In Time, and Drive.  I love the one for American Reunion because the tagline hints it will be the last one.  There’s also the French poster for Carnage which does a solid job of showing that the film is a comedy first and a drama second (I know it’s tough to wrap your mind around a Roman Polanski comedy, but try).  There’s an awkward embrace between stars Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried in the UK In Time poster.  Finally, there are two more posters for Drive.  They both just re-appropriate still images from the movie, but I got no complaints.  I can’t wait to see the movie again.

Hit the jump to check out the posters.  American Reunion opens April 6, 2012.  Carnage opens this December.  In Time opens October 28th.  Drive opens September 16th.

  1. damn, that poster of CARNAGE looks like I HEART HUCKABEES. definitely not the one i expect, even though it has a reported humorous approach, i thought they were going to hide it like The Ghost Writer(which had a reallgy cold looking poster, and therefore the humor in it was such a delight surprise).

Drive looks Bad-ass. it’s my most anticipated film of the year after the buzz at Cannes.

  2. Seyfried looks like Anna Karenina on the IN TIME trailer. i HAVE to see that. Niccol directing, Seyfried looking like thge gorgeous Anna Karenina, an interesting sci fi plot, and EFFIN ROGER DEAKINS DIGITAL DEBUT! if that’s not enough to see this movie then i don’t know what more.

  3. Matt is it really that hard to see Polanski doing a comedy? i think his most famous attribute other than being a master of thrillers is that, his thrillers have a great deal of humor in them. even if the film is as bleak as you can get. The Ghost Writer is probably the best example of this. but Chinatown had some really funny moments, and Rosemary’s Baby. i have not since the Pianist yet but i’ve heard that eventhough it’s a holocaust movie, it has a good deal of humor in it.

      • Philips and AO Scott reviewed Polanski’s career at At The Movies that year. and they talk about the humor that is always present at his films. i didn’t understand it at first since i haven’t see Ghost Writer at the time, and have only seen Chinatown(which didn’t really do anything to me). once i saw Ghost Writer and LOVED it, i dug back his films. there really is this humor that’s present in his films.

heck the Ghost Writer’s last shot was kind of wickedly funny. i have to see the Pianist now to make sure if it really doesn’t have the usual humor in a Polanski film.

  4. Is roman polanski still a fugitive from america or has that been cleared up? no one ever talks about it, and he still makes movies so…
