The documentary And Everything Is Going Fine, director Steven Soderbergh's tribute to Spalding Grey, premiered earlier this year at Slamdance. Nearly a year later, IFC Films has released the first trailer and poster for the film in advance of a December 10th release.

And Everything Is Going Fine is described as "an intimate look at the master monologist as described by his most critical, irreverent and insightful biographer: Spalding Gray."  Hit the jump to check out the trailer, poster, and official synopsis.

It appears the film consists entirely Mr. Gray and his monologues.  The trailer gives no indication of narration or cutaways -- an intriguing and logical choice from a director entrenched in technical form.

AND EVERYTHING IS GOING FINE, an incisive and entertaining portrait of Spalding Gray by director Steven Soderbergh provides an intimate look at the master monologist as described by his most critical, irreverent and insightful biographer: Spalding Gray. Soderbergh distills 25 years of rare and revealing footage to construct a riveting final monologue. An official selection of the SXSW, True/False and Edinburgh film festivals, this inspired one-man show is a bittersweet display of the writer-performer's playful and embattled intelligence, and his gift for tracking universal truths by looking himself squarely in the eye.
