Mark Hamill Wants to Voice the Joker in 'Batman: The Killing Joke' Adaptation

[Update: Hamill as Joker confirmed for The Killing Joke!]

To many fans of animated Batman adaptations, Hamill is the one and only voice for The Joker. So when Bruce Timm announced at Comic-Con that the newest DC Comics adaptation to see an animated release would be Batman: The Killing Joke, many wondered whether or not Hamill would return. At the time of this writing, Hamill himself is wondering that same thing:

Stay tuned to find out whether or not Hamill's Joker will be heard in the adaptation of Alan Moore and Brian Bolland's award-winning graphic novel. The direct-to-video release, directed by Sam Liu of Gods and Monsters, is due out next year. (Via CBR)

In related animated Batman news, the voice cast for Batman: Bad Blood has been announced in addition to the first image of the adaptation's version of Batwoman. As TV Insider reveals, Yvonne Strahovski will voice Batwoman (and her alter ego, Katherine Kane), while Gaius Charles plays Batwing and his alter ego, Luke Fox.

Batman: Bad Blood follows the storyline set up in 2014's Son of Batman and continued in Batman vs. Robin. Jason O'Mara (Batman), Stuart Allan (Robin), Sean Maher (Nightwing) and Morena Baccarin (Talia al Ghul) return to the voice cast. Ernie Hudson also joins as Lucius Fox, a longtime associate of Bruce Wayne, and Luke's father.

Batman: Bad Blood is set for release in early 2016 on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD

I'll be the first to admit that I know absolutely zero about the My Little Pony resurgence in recent years, but that I do know there's a strong following out there. Canterlot High meets its rival school, Crystal Prep Academy, in a competition that’s a long-standing tradition –The Friendship Games: a series of exciting events that includes archery, motocross, and rollerskating!  Sunset Shimmer is tasked with keeping magic out of the games to keep things fair while she and her friends compete against Crystal Prep’s top students led by someone with an equal amount of interest in Equestrian magic – this world’s Twilight Sparkle.
