Chicago rockers OK Go have developed a reputation for creating brilliantly quirky low-tech music videos. Most famously, back in 2006, they set the Internet abuzz with their “Here It Goes Again” vid, which prominently featured a tremendous choreographed treadmill dance. Yesterday, EMI released the video for “This Too Shall Pass”, the latest single from the band’s 2010 album, “Of the Blue Colour of the Sky.” Basically, it chronicles the biggest, most elaborate game of Mousetrap you’ve ever seen, accompanied by a nice little alt-rock song. It was directed by James Frost, OK Go, and Syyn Labs…and it’s good watchin’. Hit the jump to check it out. Also, if you’re interested, you can head over to YouTube for some behind-the-scenes making-of clips.

Love the homage to their previous video tucked inside. Not a big fan of the music, but the videos are awesome.
