I love several Marvel movies but am often baffled by the ravenous appetite for even the most minute of details, but if people want to know I guess they want to know.  One of the bigger stories sweeping the web this afternoon is the somewhat solid confirmation that Hayley Atwell's Peggy Carter will be in Ant-Man.  At least for a little bit, since the information seems to indicate that she will be on the Atlanta set for just one day later this month.  What's funny is that, even though I feel like I sort of don't need to know info of this nature at this stage, it still makes me excited for the movie.  It also seems to confirm early reports that Michael Douglas' Hank Pym would have a run-in with S.H.I.E.L.D.  And if they're no longer using that scene (it's from an early draft), then it's at least a little bit fun to speculate where they might go with it.

Project Casting (via CBM) put out the following notice:

"NLC is searching for an experienced stand in for Haley Atwell. She is 31, 5’7″, 112 lbs. This will work in November on a Sunday. Please submit to nlcstandin@gmail.com with your headshot, age, height, weight and sizes. Must have experience. Thanks."

I do like the character so it's a bummer she's only going to be in it for a few moments (I don't see what else they could wring out of only one shooting day - unless she's worked into the shooting schedule again at some other point), but there we are.
