That’s because your coworker’s mom works as a cafeteria lady at the local elementary school and gives rimjobs to preteen boys after school for $15 a pop. Don’t know why your co-worker is so proud of it. She needs some serious help.

      • Pernell Whitaker

Writing fiction about preteen boys getting rimjobs, in any context, is really weird.

I really wish Edgar Wright was still attached to direct this, but given that Adam McKay came on board to help polish the story and the cast is fantastic, I’m cautiously optimistic that this will be good.

    • Naniel Douche

Yeah, McKay is renowned for his story-shaping prowess. It’s not like he’s famous for directing movies that exist as multi-million dollar excuses for Will Ferrell and his chums to dick about in front of the cameras riffing without a script… Oh wait…

Directed by this generations visionary film master, Peyton Reed. From a script by a guy who writes outlines then lets his cast improvise the rest with contributions from some guy who made some Marvel shorts. Based on a discarded draft by Edgar Wright. Starring a pissed off Michael Douglas, an oddly silent Paul Rudd, and featuring a concerned Patrick Wilson. ANT-MAN. #phase3

That mask has shades of Star-Lord in it.
But it’s a superb poster and illustration though.
    Stoked!

  • Harry1257

For a studio that continued to insist that Edgar Wright’s vision was kept the same and only the screenplay was tweaked, there is not mention of him in the synopsis.

    Well played Marvel!

    • celxx

Why would you mention him? He might be credited as a writer but that’s it.. You dont see song writers mentioned in song titles lol

      • Al

Right, and you wouldn’t see McKay mentioned.

    Edgar Wright

  • vpuik

Did someone say Edgar Wright already?

  • Pernell Whitaker

    Michael Douglas

  • John Shaw

Edgar Wright has made some good movies but why is he getting the Martin Scorsese treatment?! Marvel studios has a more prolific and better track record. Have a little faith.

    • Kyle Chandler

Because Edgar Wright would have made the best Ant-Man movie. Hands down. This movie might still turn out well, and I think most people admit that. Edgar Wright was just a big reason for getting excited, even if you’re not that familiar with the character.

  • JCubs79

Why is he riding an ant? Can he control ants too? I thought he could just change sizes?

    • Kyle Chandler

In the comics, Hank Pym (who’s old here and played by michael douglas) develops a helmet which allows him to control insects. He rides on flying ants a lot since he can’t fly.
