If you love movie music and want to hear from some amazing composers, you may want to make your way to the ArcLight Cinemas if you’re in the L.A. area. The ArcLight has announced “ArcLight Presents…Hitting the High Note, which “offers ArcLight guests the opportunity to delve into the intersection of film and music with the maestros who orchestrate the musical journey to the directors’ cinematic vision.” The series will feature conversations with the composers who were nominated this year for Best Original Score. That means you’ll have the opportunity to hear from Ludwig Göransson (Black Panther), Terence Blanchard (BlacKkKlansman), Marc Shaiman (Mary Poppins Returns), and Nicholas Britell (If Beale Street Could Talk). All screenings and conversations will be at the ArcLight Cinemas – Hollywood at 6360 Sunset Boulevard.
