Arnold Schwarzenegger to Star in Zombie Movie MAGGIE

     June 21, 2013

He’s done the “rise of the machines” thing, and now Arnold Schwarzenegger is ready to tackle a zombie apocalypse.  Variety reports that Schwarzenegger has signed on to star in and produce Maggie, which takes place during a zombie outbreak.  The Governator will play a father whose daughter has been infected and is slowly turning into a member of the undead.  Commercial director Henry Hobson will direct from a Black List script by John Scott 3, and Chloe Grace Moretz was at one time set to star as the young girl but it appears as though she’s fallen off the project.

Production on Maggie is set to get underway this fall, after which Schwarzenegger will shoot The Expendables 3 followed by the long-promised Terminator 5, which is aiming to start filming early next year.  He also recently entered talks to star in a remake of The Toxic Avenger. The actor will be seen in theaters opposite Sylvester Stallone this October in the prison break pic Escape Plan.

From what i’ve heard, the script is really solid. Its too bad Chloe Moretz may no longer be attached to the project, this is a pairing I would have really liked to see.

If it’s a good script it’s too bad Arnold is involved and if they’re looking at actresses that young it should be his granddaughter. Yeah sure it’s possible for him to have a kid that young but a wouldn’t pay to see it.

Sometimes I forget how old some of these guys are. I keep thinking stallone, arnold and them are in their late 40s to early 50s and forget that they’re actually in their late 60s.

That’s because Stallone puts some serious work in with his physique and Arnie doesn’t. Arnie looks his age.

maybe arnold didnt train so hard when he had heart surgery or in his governor job but now he is back in business and serious!
