It looks like the Bluth family is still going to need a lawyer, as Henry Winkler is set to return to Arrested Development in the revived series which will appear on Netflix. The movie rental company went a long way to restore good will with the public when they picked up the cult favorite for what will be the fourth season with at least ten new episodes. Perhaps they had some legal counsel from Barry Zuckerkorn (Winkler) on how best to handle their previous faux pas. No word yet on if Bob Loblaw (Scott Baio) will lob any law bombs. Hit the jump for a quote from Winkler on rejoining Arrested Development.
THR reported that Winkler will reunite with the Bluth family in the new season. He is expected to appear in multiple episodes. Here's what Winkler tweeted the other day:
"I am supposed to be memorizing an Arrested Development scene with Maybe for today … don't tell anyone I was here OK?????"
Ron Howard also recently talked about creator Mitch Hurwitz and the writing team's approach to these new episodes:
"[Creator] Mitch [Hurwitz] isn't trying to re-create something. It's been away for a while, and part of the fun that Mitch has been mining and exploiting is, what's new to discover about these people? What's delightfully unchanged? He and the writing staff and the actors have a fantastic sense of that."
