As if it wasn’t enough on the last episode of Arrow that we saw Oliver (Stephen Amell) and all of Team Arrow die (only to, of course, be restored when Grant Gustin's Barry Allen ran back in time, BUT), now it looks like Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) will again be in mortal peril in the midseason finale, “Dark Waters.”

The new promo shows that Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) is not messing around. As McDonough told us in October,

You see my militia expand, and everything is going my way. And this other guy, Oliver Queen, and the Green Arrow — these two guys are getting in my way, and I need to kill them both. So far I can’t, and it’s really pissing Darhk off. Quite a bit.

Check it out below:

It looks like Darhk and his H.I.V.E. operatives break into Oliver’s campaign headquarters during a Christmas party (breaking windows, of course. But honestly, I’m a little surprised the CW ran this promo at all given how it shows people being shot at during a Christmas party …), and Oliver quotes True Detective by saying that the light is winning despite the darkness.

But Darhk is showing his true villain side (he’s been somewhat restrained this season, only giving hints of his powers and nihilism) by explaining to Oliver that to truly hurt someone, you hurt someone they love. And by taking them away, that will take away Ollie's desire to fight. With the final moments showing Felicity losing air and gasping her love for Oliver, does it mean she won’t make it past the finale …? Or is this all a bait and switch, and another member of Team Arrow might be felled by Darhk? Let us know your prognostications in comments, and check out some photos from "Dark Waters" below.
